Alexander the Great Hotel is located on the beach and overlooking the harbour of Paphos, within walking distance from the legendary Mosaics and the fishing harbour.

  During the excavations and buildings of the hotel, ancient Tombs have been discovered in the grounds and today after being restored they attract the interest.
  The area called the "Eastern Necropolis" was a cemetery of the Hellenistic and Roman period from 300 BC to 300 AD.
  During the excavations 18 tombs were discovered but 6 were considered of exceptional architectural interest as they are cut in the stone itself (sarcofage in the rock) the others were kept chambered.
  A lot of interesting items were also found and they may be seen today at the Paphos museum.
  Alexander the Great Hotel is a four star hotel open all year and consists of 202 rooms including 8 front sea view superior, 10 cabanas, 28 island view, 69 side sea view, 87 front sea view (including 3 suites).
